I adore this, sweetie. It's so angsty with just the right touch of sex and sweet so that nothing feels hopeless. And it's so perfectly Gabriel to offer comfort even in the midst of torment. I love this to bits.

I don't know if you caught it or not, but I posted the piercing fic. Know you were looking forward to it, so wanted to be sure you saw it.

I'm so happy you liked it! Seriously, smiling ear to ear right about now. It was so much fun to write, I was so sad that I had to stop and keep it within a word limit. It was nice to have that challenge (since nearly everything I write turns out longer than I wanted/planned), but I felt like this could have gone somewhere. >.<

OMG, I so did read the piercing fic. I can't believe I didn't leave a comment on it! *facepalm* I blame it on the hot/sweetness that caused my brain to 'splode. I'm gonna go reread that now. ^-^

Yeah, I figure that if anything were to happen between them during Mystery Spot, it would have to be sad (or angry). And the first prompt was "Bad Romance", if I remember correctly, so I think the sadness kinda had to happen.

Yes. I totally agree with that. Mystery Spot - I think - would be the beginning for them though it'd take time for Sam to get around to actually forgiving Gabe, but not too soon after. that's for sure.

It's simply beautiful how you got the feelings across, how Sam really wants some comfort and how he's afraid becuase he knows - KNOWS - that Gabriel will send him back to watch Dean die all over again. It poignant and beautiful and sad, but there is a spark of hope, somewhere. I just can't find it.
