So, Skinwalkers looks like it's going to be interesting, I haven't seen anything for it aside from the posters everywhere. The plot outline sounds interesting, but we'll see if they get the werewolf designs halfway decent. Underworld had great transformation sequences, but the werewolves looked more like hyenas. Don't get me started on Prisoner of Azkaban, as I have rejected that movie for everything aside from Buckbeak. No matter how good David Thewlis and Gary Oldman are, I was deeply disappointed in the casting choices. But I digress.
Werewolves have this horrible tendency of suckage. I hate to say that the awful Van Helsing movie with Hugh Jackman in it had the best werewolf designs in it so far, as they--SHOCK AND AMAZE--actually look like wolves. Which they're SUPPOSED TO. That's the point of it being a wereWOLF. Come on people, keep in touch with your medieval urban legends.
The transformation in that awful waste of money however killed whatever cool points they'd earned for actually having wolfish werewolves. Tearing off the skin like tissue paper and climbing up a WALL? WHAT THE HELL. Earned themselves a Hardcore FAIL. >:[
Now, I'm not a fan of White Wolf, I fell out of playing tabletop RPGs ten years ago for good reasons, and the kids that think Vampire the Masquerade is their LIFE really, really, really need to get out more or get professional help. The kids that play White Wolf are no different. But COME ON. Pls to be educating yourself on the REAL backstory behind the beasts, not something someone wrote to get you to buy all their game manuals.
Get a Wiki if you have to. ...okay, my random Zirizilla rant for the day is done now. Carry on.
