I have much love for nightambre, even if I don't say it or comment in her journals or on her artworks, but it's true. Back in fall of '04, I wrote a fic, reading it now I find it highly embarrassing how bad it really is (it was written in response to my stumbling on a really atrocious InoShika), and yes. My first real narufic was InoShika. Are you all surprised? I would be too. XD
But anymews! I distract myself. Konoha Summer is a terrible piece by my writing standards now, but it was done to the best of my abilities at the time. Scary thought. Soon after came the KSTC (those of you who remember it will know what I mean, I'm not typing out the name for those who don't, it's incriminating. XD), and of course, came the doodles.
Because you all know how big an art h0r I am for the Naru-fluffings.
Back then SheezyArt was a place where you could post anything and everything in the way of art. Mature stuff ranged from full on pr0ns to really gruesome gore. I posted doodles of rp stuff, as usual, since I wanted to keep my DevArt gallery fairly professional and not clog it up with pencil sketches. Which didn't last long once Sheezy decided to become family-friendly. But anyways! Jean ran across the doodles I did of Ino from the KSTC, and actually made a comment saying she knew the fic the drawings were based off of! I'd never run across anybody that'd read my stuff outside of the archives, and I felt all warm and fuzzy inside.
Then she went and made me my first fic-based fanart ever. It made me squee. :3
Since then we've been in a few rps together, and I love playing my au-college fluff Naruto vs. Jean's superior gamer g33k Shika, because really? He's the best ever. XD I had a blast with hs_no_jutsu, and even more so with NJU. That, and I can geek with her about Babylon 5, which practically seems like a closet fandom. But that's okay, having her and Mina bounce quotes back at each other in-chat was always amusing, because sometimes I could catch the reference, and sometimes I was so lost. XD
And the stuff she comes up with in her rpings in multi-fandom games makes me giggle, because Demyx is so adorable and music-geek love, and Ino is so mean without even trying, but that's okay, because DemyxIno is cracklove. Nobody lovings for the win. :3
And Jean, no matter how old you think you are, I don't think you're that old at all, so you can put that cane away and stop waving it at me. :b

Oh, and by the way, Naruto has something to say to Shikamaru. :D
