Ranting. (Very stupid and childish ranting, at that) Go ahead and ignore this.
I honestly don't know why I even bother with Gaia anymore. The amount of time and effort required to get anything decent is ridiculous for a forum site with game attatchments. Prices of items triple within the space of a couple months, making already expensive items ridiculously out of reach. The n00bs make wading through the forums an excruciating process, and the games get old really, really fast.
Not only that but I seem to have the innate ability to find donation/giveaway threads that are obviously too good to be true. Like the guy that had 16 dark halos and wanted avatar art. I could've done that. Easy. If the deadline hadn't been right after AX and I hadn't gotten mobbed with a dozen comissions.
Or people who decide they're going to shut down their threads and use their gold towards their quest instead. Perfectly understandable, but why the hell didn't you do that in the first place instead of leading us on for weeks? Thanks for wasting my time.
Every time I log back on I realize how much of a waste of time it is. I really don't seem to enjoy it anymore. The shininess has worn off, and I'm no longer impressed.
