Work annoyance; "Press Enter ▊" by John Varley

Jan 12, 2006 18:45

I'm a little annoyed since work has decided that my journal is a "Game" website and blocks me from being able to see any comments on it. Grrfle. I can't make a business case for access to it, even if the access might account for only about fifteen to twenty minutes out of my day.

Also, I lent the New Hugo Winners to argona_delvano when she asked for it. She came up to me today and stated that she read Press Enter▊ by John Varley. I wrote about this story back on the 3rd. She told me that she could easily understand why I was disturbed, why I couldn't get to sleep, and specifically why I was very disturbed by what happened by the lead female protagonist.
