Promisses of otheres?
Are they really worth the breath they are spoken?
This car project has just been a monumental let down in this department. Friends and Dealers breaking promises left right and center. To the point that the engine now will have been not running for a year come November! The extra stress this has caused having to correct issues and work to ever closing deadlines with the monetry loss caused by buying items that are not suitable. (In it's hundreds) The car Is frustratingly close to going and it will be started before EF but driving it to EF this year is looking like an impossible task! I've got a week to sort out issues people who I trusted have made worse. Get the car MOT'ed and Taxed and insured... Oh and soak tested..
This sadly has been a big kick in the mouth for trusting people to do things when they say they will, and makes me wonder if the old saying "if you want some thing done right, you do it yourself" is very true.
Anyway its not all doom and gloom, I've always got a backup plan and the POLO will be driving to EF admittedly its not as classy ;)
