Engine Update and weekend
Well this weekend has turned out to be a very interesting one to say the least. Quite a few things have been done and I'm hacking my guts up quiie regular with a lack of voice (thats now returning)
Engine:
A months worth of emails has been made worthless by a 10 minute phone call to the Rotary specialist in the USA and well a complete breakdown of communication had happened they were under the impression that i was missing more than i actually was. hence the messing around, now they are sending the parts out and i should have them by the beginning of the week!
A battle plan can now be drawn on what I intend to do:
- Port/polish the engine plates,
- Port/polish any intake runners and match the gaskets to these new portings (anything for a few more ponies)
- Decide on going single or twin (turbo that is)
- If single source a manifold, waste gate, and down pipe plus supporting modification for this
Quite a nice list to keep me busy and this is just the bare bones list.
Weekend:
Turned up at the York meet surprisingly after being rather ill the prior day to the point that I nearly fell down stairs a number of times with the dizziness that had been going on! I was still recovering with only half a voice and it showed but overall the meet was a blast. Despite me turning up late. Headed back up to lupes for the rest of the weekend to do things that we normally get up to. ;)
