From Russia With Love...

Well I got my relaxing evening...sort of. Odd thing though, the next day it came to pass that the no shit Russians visited our base in order to inspect the nuclear weapons for the 'Stark' treaty. This necessitated a stop work for everything productive I had been doing and instead we moved the boat to another location and I spent all of yesterday standing security guard. Wasn't too horribly bad, but I was there so bloody long yesterday that it simply wasn't worth going home. I hate spending the night at work when I don't HAVE to.

Today we moved the boat back, Russians happy with their KFC and Tv in their RV's (I think they saw 'Stripes' cause thats what they travel in), so they left. I had hoped beyound hope to get off early since I was cycled and tired as all hell from yesterday. Alas, I had to stay later then normal to be a drill monitor for a security drill. I don't know when I became someone they started looking to as a responsible member of the crew but I need to fuck up badly so they stop makeing me work so hard and I can go home with the rest of the shit bags.
Its rainy and shitty out and I had a bad headache...still have it which is why this entry is in less then my normal jovial format. However, I was happy that I was the only guy I saw that thought to make a rain coat out of a trash bag instead of getting soaking wet while I had to stand topside for the drill. Dilbert cartoons have taught me so very much.
Only other thing of note: That James Bond movie I saw the day before we found out the Russian's were comeing: From Russia With Love...
