Its true, I was in Maryland all last week. I was on a last minute Maryland 'Trip' with my command and it was a working week. I truly tried to see and spend time with everyone I could but I really felt dissapointed with my time off. First off I started by not sleeping the night before the drive up since I had to get packed and all, then I never got more then five hours of sleep a night the whole week. This is my excuse for being such a hum dum.
I worked in some town called Cederhurst, very nice people. I know have an open ticket to camp out there whenever so I desire. They fed us well also which is paramount. I was in the paper for quotes, and on the news a little which is nice. How many of you have been on the news? *sticks out his tongue*
I started by ripping out the interior of a house, lots of drywall and such. Everything but the supports. I got a tiny cut on my forehead when I riped down a ceiling and it fell on me, but otherwise I'm fine.
The next day I got to use a jackhammer and sledgehammer to bust up concrete floors. A jackhammer is awesome no doubt about it but sometimes you just need the 16 pound sledge.
I'm in Cocoa with my folks (fl), I'm going to be helping with the unpacking for a few days then I shall be home in ga again. As you can probably tell by my poor sentence structure I'm exhausted still so wish me luck in getting a full nights sleep. I just wanted to thank kitten for the conversation last night aswell. It really did mean the world to me and made me feel very good.
When I woke up this morning I had a parking ticket (noone put money in the meter for me, damn city) and I moved slowly and was generally in a shitty mood. I didn't want to go. So I stare pensively out a window as houses and cars become tiny toys and the clouds flow under me, turning into the picture of heaven so commonly seen on screen. I need to sleep in the same bed twice in a row sometime.
