[ ok fine, boredom wins ]

So, I wasn't gonna watch Aoi Hana initially, cuz it didn't appeal to me after having watched about half of the first episode way back when, and in general the summary sounded boring, but then I realized how unentertaining To Aru Majutsu no Index was (only watching in preparation for Railgun, ok?), and decided I needed a change of pace, stat. So instead of... say... making sense and finishing up one of the several series I've yet to finish, I bravely decided to start a "completely" new one in Aoi Hana. That said, these are my (ever-brief) reactions so far.

Episode 1 - boooooring.

Episode 2 - more entertaining, though I assure you it wasn't just related to the heteronormativity being turned off. I was just more interested in the characters.

Episode 3 - M'kay, so officially, "let's go to the library," is code for "let's go have lesbian smooching." Gotcha.

Episode 4 - Oshi- So now the trainwreck comes into perspective. RAVU TRIANGLES EVERYWHARE. Students and faculty... in each others pants and... eewwwww.

Episode 5 - Y'know, Sugimoto is totally awesome g/f material. I'm srs. But! Does every girl and their sister REALLY have to want to be in her pants? Even with being the lead in the play, it's frankly just really creepy, all things considered. ~_~

Episode 6 - Play was lulz and symbolism. Sugimoto makes me wanna beat her. :|

Episode 7 - Okay, could Fumi possibly be more ADORABLE? I think not. How she holds up the book to Akira and her look and her pigtail braids and WAAAAIII~ XD

Episode 8 - WTFFFFFFFF. I thought we agreed on NOT making a 'I-was-rejected-by-Sugimoto Club,' ladies. ~_~

Episode 9 - Lilies is it? Gosh, the symbolism is killing me now, for srs. xDDD

It's like... Marimite crossbred with Sasameki Koto. :x

anime, aoi hana
