Sometimes, Homura's control of time disoriented her.
The first few times she went too fast without realizing it. Homura forgot too easily while in Madoka's presence that Madoka hadn't known her for as long as she had known Madoka. And, at first, those times were the best for the both of them, simply because the sensation of falling in love was always a thrill, every time.
But eventually, she did begin to move slower, and slower still. Until the slowness became an inevitable distance.
Because while falling in love was the best, losing it just as quickly felt even worse.
