I'm on call for work this weekend so have my crackberry with me 24/7. I get pages from accuweather a couple of times a day. I got an alert about 90 minutes ago with the phrase "TAKE SHELTER NOW!". Collected the family and went to the basement. About ten minutes later the tornado sirens went off. Details are still sketchy (ie, there's not much on the news yet) but what little there is said one touched ground about three miles north-west of us and headed east.
Crazy weather the last few days. Yesterday at work we watched an almost circular storm pass overhead that was just starting to rotate. Probably broke up when it hit the lake.
