Got round to watching the excellent
HALLOWEEN 25 YEARS OF TERROR Documentary DVD today, which was really entertaining and informative, but what was really cool was one of the extras was a location report called Horrors Hallowed Grounds which showed where the movie was made.
This looks like an episode from a Horror Channel series, so after a bit of Googling I found the guy who presented the programmes MySpace page,
this is really cool.
Also the DVD documentary had footage from the Halloween Convention in Haddonfield Pasadena which looked excellent, and has contributions from most of the actors involved in the various installments in the franchise and from Clive Barker, Rob Zombie, Edgar Wright and other Halloween fans.
Watching it though you realise how the series went down the pan with 4, 5 and 6, as I myself have a fondness of Halloween III Season of the Witch and H20 (thats not water its Halloween 20 years later :), and I avoided Halloween Ressurrection like the plague.
Well worth checking out and the only shame was it was not dedicated to Debra Hill and Mustapha Akkad who both passed away over the last few months.
