Ok, here's an upcoming problem : I'll soon finish A Feast for Crows (last available book in the Song of Ice and Fire serie by George RR Martin).
The problem is I'm completely addicted and I know it could still take years before Martin finally publish the next book (if he doesn't die before finishing it).
Good fantasy books with complex characters development, decent world building, surprising plots and acceptable writing are rare (ok, even Martin is far from perfect from the writing point of view but it is still way above most and you get so cought up in the story you can forgive him his little slips).
Once I'm done with this book, what shall I read ?
I have my eyes on Brent Weeks's assassin serie (The way of the Shadows ... ). I'm just affraid I'll cringe at the poor writing.
Any other suggestions ?
