My fortuitous love affair with Graniph began much the same way with Depression - chance wandering in Far East. Of course, that was when Graniph was a small outfit, tucked away, almost forgotten, and it was just one of the labels Sidewalk 10 carried. It's still around, though I'm not sure what labels hang off the racks anymore. Fibre Optics was an exclusive exclusive then, and I could only afford one tee then.

But, back to Graniph. When it started a flagship at Bugis, I thought I was going to swear off it. After paying $50 per tee, pledging my unwavering support for months, it was horrifying to discover that the common people are getting access to it at $35 a pop. :P I stopped for 2 years or so, and now, my addiction is back. My favourites for the past two months. Thankfully, the Taipei branch had shoji uchiyama's (heather gray tee) ANSWR, which had been mistaken for a LV collaboration. I wished I had a backup, in case it gets screwed during washing.
