My Trip in Review
OK, so there is alot of stuff i would do differently if I were to take this trip again. I would have liked to arrive a little sooner since I would have had more time to become comfortable with The Frenchman's Parents. I never really got comfortable and it is hard when you are away from you family for the holidays AND uncomfortable where you are. I would have planned a LITTLE more in advance of what to do and gotten on The Frenchman's case about setting up more stuff with his friends. Oh well, I did enjoy my time in Lyon and I am glad I did this with him. I found out he is a good travel companion and I am looking forward to more adventures with him.
Lyon is a very nice and historic city. I enjoyed the roman ruins and the good food. I liked meeting The Frenchman's Friends at all of the nitfy little pubs there are all over the city. They seems like good people. The Weather was hard for me. It was just SO cold when we go there I really learned the meaning of Biting wind
New Years was spend with some friends getting really drunk and eating. Have to say it was a pretty good time. Woke up half drunk half hungover and went out for bad food. Not a bad New Years.
I LOVED Amsterdam. I wish we had spend more time there because it was a wonderful city and I need to go back there. We didn't do much besides see the window whores and walk and get dinner but it was enough to make me want to go back SOON!
Now Back to life in the new year.
