New Years Resolutions

I have been thinking about these alot.  I have made some wonderful changes to myself this past year and I am hoping to keep the process going.  so here are my resolutions, and a small expectation behind them
1. Be more selfish.  I know this sounds weird but I have some people who I give too my of my emotional psyche to and I just can't do it anymore.  I am left feeling drained and tired and hurting.  I am not going to drop them as friends but I am going to invest myself less in their problems and honestly try not giving a shit so much about alot of things.  I have started this one lately.  I can give one example so maybe you understand: A person I knew from back in the ballet world and had a..weird expierence with came up on my Facebook so i sent a friend request.  I got a message from them where they got on my case about the fact that i didn't date them when they asked me to (never mind the 20+ year age gap, and fact that after talking to me 2 or 3 times told me they were in love with me...) and took them off my myspace.  I politely explained myself but also told them honestly if they were going to rake me over the coals for stuff that happen 2 years ago I was over it and wasn't going to appologise for stuff like that more then once.

FYI odds are if you read this you are not one of the people I am thinking of.  This resolution was the idea of my boy who hates to see me so hurt because I can't "save" everyone.

2. Take care of myself mind, body and soul.  I stress too much, eat badly and generally just have been strugging.  I want to get back to the gym and get my body working well.  I need to eat more veggies again.  I need to try and figure out my schedule.  The turn around days are hard for me as I get home 8 or 9 PM and have to be up at 4 for work again.  Yes that is 7 hours but I have to eat, get ready for bed, maybe talk to my parents a little or check some email.  Maybe get something prepped and that 7 hours some out turns in to 4 or 3 very fast.

3. Keep my room clean.  Even when I am tired.  The clothes just keep piling up.

4. Get rid of some clothes.  If you are my size they are up for grabs, bonus points if you can come and get them.  I am not thinking it will be anything fancy but since my dresser is over flowing u know I need to get some of this stuff out.  It is hard for me to get rid of perfectly good clothes, so if I can give them to a friend I would feel much better.

5. Be happy.
