August already?
Wow...Haven't updated in a long time. When I randomly say hi to friends from school, they ask, "so what have you been up to?" My honest answer is, "I have no idea." I really couldn't tell you. I've been a bum and no memories of the summer stand out. Way too much television though, I can tell you that much.
Yesterday, I saw Lady in the Water. Ok, it was pretty bad. But what I want to know is how he manages to take a terrible movie and make it compelling? I have to admit that I do NOT see his movies for plot or twists. I think he has a real knack for character development that he downplays. That's what makes the movies interesting. Lady in the Water had some fun ideas and good characters (and, let's face it, the film critic character was brilliant). I enjoyed many little parts, but how can so many right pieces make such a wrong whole?
Anyway, went to Al Gore's book signing. That was pretty cool. He is a lot more interesting in person than on TV.
Yea....That's it...Two days until Dani Moore ties the noose! HUZZAH! CONGRATS D'MO! And, I will take the events of the last night of freedom to the grave ;)
