strange times
I've been riding my bike around all day because the rear axle of my truck broke, and it won't be fixed until the 4th of January. It is good exercise, but it is pretty annoying at the same time. It was a nice day, so i was riding around without a shirt on...which got me honked and whistled at. I painted one of the walls in the living room as a test wall for the color, and i am pretty sure i like it. It is a blue that is dark, but not very dark, and it goes well with the dark wood floor. After i finished painting i went down to the beach and went surfing for a little while...the water is getting good and cold these days...60 degrees. The waves were small, so i opted for a longboard and rode some 1-3 foot runners. It was breaking over a bar, so you could dart off the wave you got up on and acid drop down the one in front of it...very good times. You get moving so fast when you drop into a second wave that you zip down the line even in the smallest and choppiest of break. After about an hour and a half of the cold water i decided to paddle back in and get dry. Now i am sitting in the coffee shop across the street drinking a hot beverage to get my body temp back up. I am going to my sister's house tonight, and i will be back at the house tomorrow to do more painting....the fun never ends...i got my heart ripped out yesterday....that sucks a lot.
