Paddy's, in Wolfville, makes the most amazing nachos, and it's just such an awesome atmosphere for a few light drinks with friends. It became my go-to place to meet up with Suman, Jasmine and Maeghan and sometimes Richard, so we could catch up on each other's lives. Everyone loves Paddy's. Even my parents enjoy going down there for a drink at the bar of an evening (especially when there's a band playing in the corner), and Rosie's in the back is a favourite lunch/dinner destination for them. The warm wood and Irish atmosphere reminds them of being newlyweds in Dublin, I think. Back in the days before it came to Wolfville, Maeghan and I used to drive out to the one in Kentville to have Purple Hazes and talk about boys. Good times.
