I sort of had a moment like that. I was out with my friend Carrie and some of her friends a couple of weeks ago, and I said something about how I don't find the male body attractive but in a way that said that I figured everybody felt that way. I think my exact words were, "Well, who wants to look at the male body anyway. It's kinda *mleangn*, anyway." Everybody laughed, some uncomfortably. The girl I was talking to directly was like, "Oh I find the male body very attractive." Now I think they think I'm a closet lesbian and in total denial.

I haven't had this moment, but I'm on your side of the fence. Men's bodies, especially their genitalia, are extremely... functional. They aren't meant to be pleasing to the eye.

Then again, girls are icky.

I have to admit I actually very much enjoy the sight of my husband's upper body unclothed. He's gotten quite buff in the military... ;) But I hear what you're saying. I think it's the fact that a man stripping sexily just seems ridiculous.

I really like the look of men's upper bodies, especiall their backs, when naked but the lower body... not so much. I get what you mean though about watching them put on button up shirts, but I also like watching them come off lol.

Yes, I think it's more that than anything else. If I didn't like my husband unclothed, I'd be worried. But I like a man buttoning up his shirt :p

For me, I have to like the person I'm looking at. I can't just look at a picture of a random buff guy smoldering into a camera, and find that attractive, because I really really don't. Robert Downy Jr. in a tank-top in Iron Man on the other hand...
