Public Service Announcement....
It is with a heavy heart that the Dallas boys of Leather (DbOL) announce the disbandment and retirement of our group.
During its history DbOL has been well known in Dallas and the United States for its leadership, charity and social events. Starting with Star Boyz during the Ms World Contests when it was held in Dallas , a coffee delivery service to participant’s hotel room delivered by a boy.
DbOL had hosted many boy/sub gatherings in both Dallas and Oklahoma , at such events as Beyond Vanilla, South Plains Leather fest, ILSb (when in Dallas ). As well as co-producing Dallas Leather Sir/boy contest 2002-2003 and North Texas Leather Sir boy 2005-2006.
DbOL crowning charity program has been its annual boys and bears stuff animal drive for the children in Scottish Rite Hospital and last year adding Bryans House for children affected by AIDS. Boys and bears annually collect over 300 stuffed animals thanks to the support of the community and many individuals. This program will continued to be produced by boy ed and boy cat.
All of Dbol’s yahoo groups and website will be shut down within the next couple of weeks. DbOL will be donating its remaining funds to a local charity, to be announced soon.
We invited all our friends and family to join us on the evening of September 20, 2008 at the Dallas Eagle when during their Dallas Pride events starting at 9pm we will officially retire our club colors. The boy pride flag will remain at the Dallas Eagle and when the new Dallas Eagle opens a new boy pride flag while be hung with a small plaque “Dallas boys of Leather 2002-2008” At Beyond Vanilla on September 27, 2008 at 700 AM DbOL will also host our finally submissive gathering, we invited both subs and dom’s to join us for “one more for the road”.
A DbOL patch will soon be sent to the Leather Archives so that DbOL will not be forgotten in the future. All DbOL logo’s and embalms will remain copyrighted.
