So I think customers tip better when it's pouring rain outside.  Especially if you look wet and miserable.  Like - "O WOE is me!  I walked ALL the way from the store to bring you your pizza in this monsoon, and I hurried so it could still be hot for you!"  Actually, I just got out of my car and got rained on for about 3 seconds.  It wasn't that bad.  Though in all seriousness, road conditions are worse.

But today... we were rather busy.  To the point that my manager called me in to work early.  I think it's because of these things:

1: it's the weekend, which is naturally a busier time.
2: it's after payday, for military and a bunch of others too.
3: there was a seahawks game today (found this out from one of my customers)
4: it was DUMPING rain all day today, and no one feels like going anywhere.

So I ended up with $40 in tips in about 5 hours, which isn't bad at all.  More than my salary for the day was.

But I had to miss church today, and I wasn't too thrilled about that.  Of course, I never like working on Sunday, but it can't always be helped.

That's essentially been my day, although I did write a bit of the chorale that's due on Tuesday (think: 4 part contrapuntal harmony, 24 measures long, changes key three times, etc. etc.).  I think I need to really work on it tomorrow.

In other news, my imouto called this evening.  It was very good to hear from her, and we talked awhile.

"Fall the chains that held us (Finally let us be free)
Our hearts withered like dust (You see it in our faces)
Where once was white plumage
Is now creased skin worn by age.

Our last breath as sweet as the first."
