The Restaurant at the End of the Universe

Today in Astronomy (first day of class), the professor asked us each, among other things, where we would go if we could go to any event in space and time.

I couldn't resist.  (For those who still aren't sure what I said, have another look at the blog-title).  Unfortunately, I think only one other person got the reference.  Not that the class was very big, but still.

My music instructor missed today's class.  It's really sad when you have better attendance than the teacher, regardless of the subject.  This means that my Music Theory V class missed a full week of instruction, first because of the snow and then this today.

Also, I do believe that a small part of hell froze over today: My sister *intentionally* listened to Led Zeppelin.  Two whole songs, one of which was "Stairway."  But, unfortunately, it thawed soon afterward, and she's back to listening to whatever tripe she usually listens to.

But, after my classes, I got to go to the chiropractor (!!!) and my neck is all but fixed.  I have a follow-up appointment tomorrow morning, and then it should be good.  But it feels so much better now.

And in other news, Cortney's father is actively attempting to buy off Cortney, to keep her from marrying me before she graduates college.  ...must be nice to have parents that can afford college expenses straight up.

By the way, happy birthday (tomorrow).  See?  I remember my friends' birthdays.  *smile* (Not that you'll ever read this, but still.)
