So, the second jamboree took place yesterday. We put up an amazing fight and kept our second, but there was a bigger difference in points this time. And the top four of us were all ahead of Cranbrook's number two runner. That makes me proud. I ran a 22:16 and stole 11th place. Nothing extravagent, but it's not bad either. And I'm proud of my skills as a thief. I lost a toenail also. Now all we've got to do is take them at the final conference meet, and we're set. Let's go.
Today's practice was a 45 minute woods run. Unfortunately, thanks to it being a woods run, I cracked my ankle again. Every time I hurt it, it makes it that much easier for it to happen again. It's like every time makes it weaker.
I also found out that I got a 69% on my trig test. I studied and everything, so I was confident. That's the sad thing. I do worse when I study, and I take it feeling like I'm doing better than I really am. Ouch.
So I've got two music pieces right now that will be performed on piccolo. Oh boy, I should probably start practicing that now. Gahh. I haven't gotten a decent start on my literary analysis either. Maybe I should?
I ache. And I'm tired. That means I'm outta here.
