You'd have to be pretty dumb to think that was worse than the whole communism bit. Or even the surge of stupidity with the post office.

I was not here for the former, though I was for the latter.

I suppose after making something as familiar as the post office a place of punishment, it was hard for some to not expect something similar from the hotel.
