Man, these weekends go by too freakin' fast! It's not fair! I demand a recount!

Friday night, I had dinner with my parents at Red Lobster. My parents being Catholic and it being Lent for them, they wanted fish. Unfortunately so did every other Catholic in a 50 mile radius, apparently, as there was an hour wait for a table at 8PM! Hey, I didn't mind. I was having crab legs! After dinner, Julie called and asked me to come over. She, Jay, Glen, Kris, Barb and Wally were all over and threw me an impromptu surprise party. Cake and everything! They also got me a box o' rhythm for me to use in my band! (shakers, eggs, tambourine, etc)

I also got my sister's gifts! coley8302 gave me a green and black shamrock blanket that she made herself! It's two layers of fleece, so it's really soft and warm! It's on my bed now and the dog and I are fighting over it... She also got me a frame that she painted and then put in a 5x7 of David Larabale, from when she and I met him years ago.
I also got a bunch of St. Patties gifts from my dance class, since my b-day is closest to St. Patties. Yay stuff to put up at work!
Saw Terry this weekend. He's feeling much better. Band rehearsal went really well, though we're not going to be able to get Immigrant up and running before Sunday. Sad, I really like that piece because it's got recorder, plus since we're singing the "Gaelic Song", I need to redeem myself after playing that horrendous recorder solo in there. Ah well. At this point, all I'm concerned with is being able to feel my legs for all the gigs. Eek. And I found out they added another 1/2 mile to the parade this year.... darn them.
Oh yeah, and I managed to set up two friends this weekend! Heidi and Adam often come over during band gigs and help move stuff. Well, recently, both had started coming over for the rehearsals as well. So after the rehearsal on Sat, Terry and I invited them both to have dinner with us. At the resturaunt, I convinced them to switch numbers. Adam ended up whipping out his phone awefully fast and Heidi ran around for the rest of the night, exclaiming that she got his number. I got a kick out of it....Haven't played matchmaker for so long!

friends, birthdays
