Oh yeah...forgot to mention WHY Jay didn't need his entertainment center anymore.
Jay sold his condo (loooong story as to why, involving other band members we don't mention around Wally or Jay anymore), so he had all this money. So Jay went out and bought a HUGE (I can't remember the dimensions of the thing, since it's wide screen) HD wide screen TV. The thing is enormous! He got the receiver for HD cable. I cannot tell you how vivid and clear the HD channel is!!! It was freaking impressive! If anyone's undecided about whether HDTV is worth it, I'll say this: If you're a TV buff, don't mind just getting a few channels in HD at the moment (but I tell you, I could watch a cooking show on the HD channel and still be enthralled), and have the money for it, it's TOTALLY worth the money!
So this gadget buff also got a DVD burner and a digi-cam for his girlfriend (who I'm really jealous of because I know she doesn't use her camcorder that she has now unless the guys had a gig, and since that's stopped....grrrr!!! I want it!). Ah well.... Grrr!
