First of all, congrats to brugandy_george on her pregnancy!!!! She told me this morning and I screamed into the phone...poor girl's probably deaf now!
moonsend and manuka's wedding was very beautiful and it's VERY apparent that they love each other very much! I wish the best of luck to both of them in their new life together! The whole KC trip was very fun and I got to see friends I hadn't seen since Candace's wedding in 98! I got there Fri night, got picked up by Viv and we went to a coffee shop to wait for Sara to get off work and drive out to where we were. We hung out at the coffee shop for a while and then met Viv's teacher/boy-toy at a Jerusalem restaurant. The food was very good and Viv's got a good catch. They've got a lot in common, from being Vegans to both having a phone collection (don't ask). Viv and her teacher went off to class at an art exhibit and Sara and I hung out at a New Age store for a while. I was starting to not feel well, as I had the comings on of a cold before I went to KC and it decided to make my life miserable for a while. Sara and I proceeded to get lost...a lot. We ended up on the wrong end of town than we needed, calling the hotel a bunch to ask them to get us out of where we were, but it was a lot of fun and we laughed about it. All I can say is thank God her car had a compass because without mountains, I can't tell where West is!!! I got to the hotel and hung out with Andrea and Niki for a while, then went to bed. I got up and had brunch with Andrea and Niki and then went to help set up the wedding. Like I said before, the wedding was gorgeous and nothing went awry! After that, we all went out to dinner and then went to Ian and Andrea's house to watch them open their gifts. The whole weekend was fun!
In about 15 minutes, I get to go have lunch with a long-lost friend (man, I'm seeing all my old High School friends recently!). I had lost touch with Katrina a few years ago (mainly due to the fact that I was dating Psycho Jeff at the time and she hated him and he convinced me that I didn't like her either), but we've been talking recently over e-mail and we're meeting for lunch today! I'm happy!
