A "Me" weekend
Friday - Got off work early, had a very nice lunch with burgandy_george, somewhat cleaned my room, picked up tapes that were getting dubbed, went to Kareoke with poproxtar and her boyfriend.
Saturday - Dance performance at Jan's 50th birthday. The show went well and they had even hired a competent DJ (oooooooooohh).Terry came along (so I didn't have to go alone) and he wore his kilt. Before the dance performance, Martin seemed to hit on Terry because of the kilt. It was funny.
Sunday - Hit Sakura Square (I found the rice paper candies that I haven't had since I was a kid! Yay!), ate at Fado's, went to Herbs and Arts (sorry, burgandy_george, no broomstick pendants. I'll keep looking), then went to Raves. I was a bad girl and bought a black full-length, vinyl, low-back dress, with buckles all over. My justification...it had $140 off the price tag. I need to shed some inches in my hips (actually a lot of inches...and somehow grow some boobs) before it'll start looking good, but hey....It was vinyl. Chances are, I'll end up wearing it to my next gig anyway, to freak out the cowboys.
I also did my taxes. Yay spending money for Ireland!
