Still kicking
Hi everyone. I just wanted to pop in and let everyone know that the reports of my falling off the edge of the earth are somewhat exaggerated. Hubby and I simply suffered a vicious attack of Real Life that left us with little free time and minimal computer access. Thank you to everyone who checked up on me.
How is everyone doing? I’ve felt horribly cut off from my favorite outlet and social network. I hope everyone is doing well. I’m going to try and catch up with everyone’s LJ over the next few weeks or so.
I also need to offer significantly belated birthday wishes to a number of people, and I'm sorry if I've missed anyone else. Many apologies for not getting these out on your big day.

And finally, for all those lucky souls heading off to Phoenix Rising - May your travels be safe and your adventures enjoyable! I am quite envious of y’all, New Orleans is one of my favorite cities. Hubby and me are off to Toronto in a few days for a microbiology convention, and I can assure you that New Orleans is significantly better than Toronto at keeping one’s muse well fed.
