A Seasonal Salutation, A Birthday, and A Squee

Yes, I am an awful friend; I freely admit it. ;-) Hubby and I have been racing to finish our Hurricane Katrina work by year’s end, and so have had very little free time. Oh, yeah, and there’s that wee bit of holiday and family thing going on as well.

RL has no sense of humor, I've decided. So, for the next few days I'm rewarding myself by reading fic and playing around on the internet.

We're already quite busy, but it's a good busy so far -- no illness yet. Considering our last year, that's a very good sign!
