[He wasn't really paying attention to you when he came outside, considering he was just planning to check the mail to see if he got anything. But, you know...seeing you breath flowers. Okay, he wasn't expecting that.]

....That's a neat trick.

Of course it is! I'm going to grow them all over town. That'll make this place look nicer.

Yeah.

...So...I mean...what's the trick? I mean, how did you do it? Like, are they some kind of fast growing seeds you had in your hand, or what?

[wolf_faerie]

[She just gives him a perplexed look.]

There aren't any seeds. It's magic.

No it's not. Magic isn't real.

[wolf_faerie]

[He gets this look in response.] Of course it's real! Here, I'll do it again.

[So she does it again.]

[He'll just stare for a moment before he begins speaking very slowly.]

Yes. Well. You're clearly.....you....

[And he'll just stand there, waving his hand in a circle, slightly slackjawed as he tries to come up with an explanation.]

.....You're tricking me. Maybe they're...it's some kind of illusion...

[And he'll reach down to pick up a flower to test if it's real.]

[Man, she doesn't get why you're still not convinced, Pokey. Clearly it's magic.]

I'm not tricking you. It's magic. And that flower is real, it'll die in a few days like any flower does.

[godisachild]

[More or less because he's a stubborn little asshole, for the most part. But yeah, he's just going to hold it in his hand for a moment. Yep. It's real. Doesn't look like there's any way it could be a real trick.

He'll just stand there for a moment, staring at it. He's shaking a little though.]

....Don't do that to my lawn.

[wolf_faerie]

Well, fine. If you don't like them, I'll just leave.

[Turns to leave.]

It's not that I don't like them, it's just-

[They scare him? Like he'll say that. But it's true. He really, really can't explain what you just did Aisling, and that scares him.]

....Tch. Just...they won't do anything weird to the lawn, would they?

[wolf_faerie]

[She turns back around.]

No. They're just normal flowers. They'll die after a while.

Then I guess it's alright.

...And it'd look better then just the stupid grass.

Of course it does! Flowers make anything look better.

....So...So the wolf thing you did a few weeks back...was that magic too? I mean...I guess that's how you'd do it?
