Ugh, I hate it when I get droned...but at least I'm back to normal now.

It happened to me once before...but it's happened to a lot of people. Sometimes when people get droned they go home and come back, sometimes they don't.

Well, we're both back to normal, so I guess it doesn't matter much now.

Well enough. Rin's been giving me the usual kind of trouble, but I suppose I was asking for it getting her as a Master.

I never explained it last time? Since you already know my identity I guess it won't really matter...

It's why people call me Lancer--that's my class as a Servant. The short version is that I was summoned by a magus a couple thousand years after I died. A Servant having a Master is kind of like a knight swearing an oath to fight for someone; in return the Master's energy sustains the Servant's existence.

Before we lost everything a while ago, I got my Servant status back and made a contract with a girl named Rin Tohsaka.

...It's pretty surreal sounding phrased like that, but that's the basic story.

[Pauses as she tries to make sense of this.]

So...you're a knight, and you can use magic because your master can?

[riastrad_ridire]

Sort of. Servants are ordinarily a lot stronger than their Masters--that's why they're summoned, to fight other Servants in a war between magi.

...Honestly, it's pretty complicated. And basically irrelevant here, considering I haven't seen any of the other Servants fighting here.

Well, at least you don't have to fight here.
