I looked up, and for awhile, I didn't see anything. Then I saw a LEO satellite. Soon afterward, another. Then I saw a fast but otherwise small and boring meteor. Then another LEO satellite. This one stayed the same brightness for awhile but then started to get brighter. It kept getting brighter until it was the brightest thing in the sky. It looked like an Irridium flare. Then I saw another boring meteor. Then a spectacular large meteor that left a wide textured trail and flared brightly, exploding into orange fragments. Then another LEO satellite came very close, possibly within 100 arc seconds, to occulting Ras Alhague. The sky is exciting.
