Yesterday, I noticed that my new seat cover was tattered in a spot on the passenger side. Since rexar has done the most sitting there, I asked him if he had any idea what could have caused it. He had no idea, as I suspected. The damage looked like it would take years of wear to make. This morning I found that the seat cover was badly shredded. It was at least twice as damaged as it was yesterday. The driver side window was mostly open as I often leave it. I immediately suspected that one of my cats was having claw sharpening fun in the night. Awhile later, upon closer inspection I was unable to find any claw marks on the vinyl seat underneath or cat footprints anywhere. I also noticed that the damage was unlike what a cat would make. The fibers were very finely shredded, not just pulled.
