My meds are driving me crazy.

I'm at the end point where I'm almost off them entirely. Unfortunately I forgot to factor in my sensitive body chemistry when my doc and I made this plan. Right now I'm taking 37.5 mg (the smallest available size) every other day. I've had no problem before with higher alternating doses to step down, but this one seems to throw my body for a loop. I sometimes experience mild withdrawal symptoms (slight loss of focus, headache) on odd days, but I usually get better by mid evening. But then on even days when I take the pill I get sick from introducing a new element; it seems my body adapts to the new circumstances overnight. So I get headaches again and slight nausea. And now that it's evening and I've had a chance to sleep off the sickness a bit, I'm fine. It's been 5 days since I started this plan, and it's only been the last couple days which have drove me batty.

I'm going to continue this for a couple more days to see if it's really the meds and not just a bad coincidence with other stuff in my life right now. If I'm fine, no worries and I continue as planned. If not, I call the doctor and leave a voice mail that I'm moving ahead and cutting it off completely. He'll understand. Either way, our next meeting is next Friday, and I should be off any medication by winter.

This will be fun.
