The concert was AMAZING!! There were around 10 bands but I only saw 6. But there were 2 parts to the concert: the Fest & the Concert.
The Fest had about 5 "newer" bands. The only names I can remember are Affliction, Crooked X, and Bury Your Dead.
The only one I really wanted to see out of that was Crooked X; they started their band when they were 15! O.O So I really wanted to see them, and they were Amazing!
We also as Affliction, who sings like my brother, and another band, but I don't remember their name. The only sucky part about the Fest was that it was raining outside, and the Fest was outside of Full Blat. @.@ But it was still great!
As for the Concert, that too was AMAZING! There were 4 bands: Lucuna Coil, Chimera, Killswitch Engaged, and Disturbed.
Lucuna Coil is Italian but sing in English, plus they have a female singer . ^_^ The only sad thing was that they didn't sing my fav song "Swamped." The only other "complaint" I have with the female singer is that she "head-bangs" differently. But as a band, they were great and played well to the crowd.
Chimera is one of my bro's favs, and they were also very good. I didn't enjoy them as much as he did because I barely know any of their songs. But I think that it was because of them that my neck is sore. (They're a metal band with a lot of head banging. ^_^)
Killswitch Engage....Well, they were ok; I really only liked 4 songs of theirs. They have a new singer and I don't like their newer songs. The lead guitarist was funny but annoying. He'd run around like a child (probably has ADD), flex his arm muscles (didn't have much to show for it), and would "growl" speak about retarded things. The best things about the band was when the lead singer blamed one of the fans for the crappy weather. XD
Then it was Disturbed!!!! I saw them 6 years ago and they are still freakin' amazing! David came out in a straight jacket. XD They played songs from all 4 albums: their hits, fan favs, and just some good ones! Songs they played that I loved are: Stupify, Down With the Sickness, In the Fire, Land of Confusion, Indestructible, and 10000 Fist. They played a bunch more but those were my favs! But I think one of my fav parts of their performance was when they let the drummer show off. Most of the time, it's one of the guitarists that do, but this time it was the drummer! XO Woot!
As for the crowd, they were a lot better this time.
