So the concert was Tues the 15th, and it was amazing! We saw 3 bands and I liked all of them.
This time we went to a place called “Brand New” off the Osaka Loop line. It’s smaller than Holiday and the bar in front had a platform were the saizen stood, making it more difficult to see.
A very different thing we saw at this place was that there were mothers and children were there! We found out from a girl in the Jet that the crowd came for a group called “Hear.” What was also strange was there were a lot of guys there too.
The groups we saw were Envus, Shilfree and the Tulip Corobockles, and Hear.
Envus: (five members: Vocal- Hideki, Bass- Asuka, 2Guitars- Junki & Haruka, and Drummer-Yuki)
What can I say? They were just as amazing as all the other times we saw them! Unfortunately since the members had to step up on another platform to get closer to the fans, the musicians didn’t go up there as much. But the bassist did look over at our group! ^_^
Shilfree and the Tulip Corobockles
It’s basically Full’s baby and the musicians are always changing. He had this weird instrument thingy that he played. It was made of wood, probably shorter than my arm, with six (?) metal strips that he “plucked” to make sound. It was also digital, so he could probably have changed the sound it made.
From what Shanna says, he’s usually uniquely dressed in things that look like furniture. XD Tues he had on a darker shade of yellow, reminding me of __ mustard. The thing that kept catching my eye was the owl necklace he had on that could probably take over my hand. XD
I really love his music, though I wish it would have been in a different setting. His voice is beautiful but it reminds me of something you would listen to sitting down over drinks, not standing.
Hear (“5” members: Vocal- Aito, Guitar- Shige, Bass- Misa, Drummers- Yasumasa &)
One thing I must not, the singer is a girl! She’s a girl pretending to be a guy pretending to be a girl. The joke comes from how most Vis Kei men dress more feminine, so she’s doing this to poke fun at them. There are actually 2 drummers, one in Osaka and one in Tokyo, which is interesting.
Her songs are very energetic and so is she! I love watching her perform. In one of her songs, she pokes more fun at Vis Kei bands, saying that they cover the part of their face that they don’t like. I guess this mean a lot don’t like their mouths, or that general area, and ___ from Envus doesn’t like his right eye. XD
During one of their breaks, she made fun of the pants the drummer was wearing. Since he didn’t have mic, he was yelling, “No! She’s lying!” and waving his hand over his face; the Japanese gesture for saying it’s different.
Afterwards we got to meet all the bands! Envus said the recognized us, especially Shanna! ^_^ It makes me happy to know that we’re recognized.
Hear was a lot of fun to talk to. She thanked us all for coming, and was glad that most of us bought her cd.
Shilfee was a little scared of us, I think. Shanna and I were the only ones that went up to him. I think if all of us went he would have fled.
Sry this is kind of late. >.< I had a lot of things going and I didn't really look for the member names until recently.
