I know it, you know it, but I just got this thing and thought I'd actually write in it. I totally intend to update the story.
So, computer problems abounded this week, totally sucks, in a major kinda way. I did get a brand new cd burner, and internet interface card out of it though. Well really just the burner, because the interface card was the whole problem. Gateway, can kiss my butt. Called the tech support, and got the Spanish speaking woman that I couldn't understand, yet again. GGRRRRR!!!!! Spent two hours trying to decipher all of it. Finally gave up, and took the damned computer to the fix-it guy. Now I'm back on-line, thank the PTB'S, although I don't know if they are the ones I should be thanking or maybe it's the guy that actually knew what was wrong with this damned thing. Whatever.
That was Sunday, and the week just got worse as it went along. I go into work Monday, and woo hoo, more hours, because some guy violated his probation, and went to jail. So I get to work his shift. Yeah, right. More grease and other assorted McDonalds 'Special Sauce' to wash off of my body. Happy day. :(
Tuesday was worse, everything that could go wrong, did go way wrong. Not even gonna go there.
Wednesday was better, well at least I got to go do something I actually enjoy. I also help train the smartest little horse I've ever come across. She's my baby, and the only job I've ever had that I want to go to. No matter how tired I am, I always go see my Princess. (Yes I know, not a very inventive name, but it's short for Dark Princess, which really corny, but Spike said it, and the horse had to have a name that fit her for registration purposes. That's the name that stuck, and actually fit.)No one knows my reasoning for the name, but hey what can I say? I'm a Spike-aholic. There absolutely will not be any anonymous classes in my future. Twelve step classes are not my thing, just look at my transcripts for school. The only things I actually passed were English, spelling, and reading. SERIOUSLY!!! Well, and one science class, but that's only because the teacher was totally cool, and let us do all of the experiments in the book, and some that weren't. The class was awesome, if all teachers could've been like her, I'd probably have passed everything. But oh well, you can't have it all. If I could, I'd be married to James Marsters. If wishes were horses, and all that rot.
Thursday, was supposed to get off at one, I worked over, so couldn't go down to the barn, was not a happy camper, because of that.
Friday, same as Thursday, but I did get the computer back, and spent most of the day, and night, trying to get everything straightened out with it. God, I never knew that I had downloaded so much shit in my life. I didn't know there was that much crap to download. But it's all back in the thing, so me happy camper.
Today, well, today was totally great. I did start writing the new chapter. (No really, I swear I did) But then the job I really want to go to called. Boy, was it a job today. I'm wore the hell out. But it's so totally worth it. As I said the horse is my baby, and passion, if I could be there all of the time, I seriously would. I'd live at that barn. Real life really sucks sometimes. What can you do? Grin and bear it. Anyway, I think I'll go and work on the story, since so many people are waiting for an update, I'm sorry to every one that's been waiting for so long. I swear it wasn't my fault. I tried to update the next day, but no internet. I didn't even write it out until this morning (Well part of it, anyway) Cause I would've lost all of it, just like the rest of my stories. I couldn't even put it on disks, because the computer was so messed up. I wouldn't write to the floppies. Now everything works perfectly fine. God, I hope that I didn't just jinx myself.
