They Never Look Up

So, it's funny in an I-wish-it-wasn't-me way, but last night I got hit on the head with a clothes iron. I was playing with Haasenpfeffer on the floor of the closet and I noticed that my foot was tugging on a cord. "Oh," I thought, "the iron is up on that shelf." And then the cord went slack and I just knew what was about to happen next. Fuck you, iron. I never wanted wrinkle-free clothes anyway. Phil managed to drag me to a doctor this morning, and yes, Phil, you were right and I was wrong, but it's just a tiny little concussion.

In other news, I enjoyed the Super Bowl last night, even though the team I was rooting for lost. I figured that I like horses, and the Colts have a horse mascot, therefore I would cheer for the "Pony Team." Oh well. The Dorito's commercial totally made up for it.

The boss ladies are gonna let me give Nanashi a homestay as soon as we're moved into the house. I picked up some reading material on training methods for huskies, and boy is it gonna be a lot of work, but I'm looking forward to it. If he fits in well, then he's mine to keep.

I can't focus enough to type more. I'm using all my concentration on keeping my food and water (but mostly water) down.
