Spring

It finally feels like it is actually going to be Spring soon. Kids and I spent several hours at the park today. Milla showed me how she can swing completely on her own now, swinging high up in the air. Dov ran and ran and ran and ran and kicked and kicked and kicked the ball around. I felt warmed by the sun and hopeful that warmer weather and the growing season was right around the corner.  The house heat is turned off...and I am ok with that. We have been dumping kerosene into it on and off to make sure we have some hot water (the wood stove keeps us nice and toasty), but I know the fuel truck will be able to get to the house this week. We are in the worst financial circumstances we have been as a married couple, but after an initial  stressful period we  are determined and focused and relieved to have what we do have....health, happy kids, great friends, a home....

IT feels like a new year...more that Jan1 ever did.
