THEME - Favourites: lebanese bread pizza

Hello fellow foodies!

Everyone loves pizza, right?

This is my favourite pizza recipe. It's quick, it's easy, it's tasty.

Actually, this post is more a suggestion than a recipe.

I suggest using lebanese bread as a base for your pizza, and I suggest that you top the pizza with whatever your heart desires. Yum!

Anyway, below are the instructions.

1. Preheat oven. I think I usually have mine on 200 degrees (C).

2. Spread lebanese bread with sauce. Try not to use boring tomato paste. I find a tomato-based pasta sauce tastes much more delicious; but experiment with other things. I've tried pesto, olive tapenade, thin slices of tomato with garlic and olive oil... Use your imagination!

3. Throw on your favourite pizza toppings. (eg: olives, onion, capsicum, basil, bocconcini, tomatoes, semi-dried tomato, artichoke, eggplant, bacon, salami, sliced chicken) or whatever I have lying around. I've been known to throw on corn kernels, kidney beans, brocolli...

4. Sprinkle with cheese. I usually use some form of tasty cheddar cheese, but again, use whatever you like. Mozzarella, bocconcini, parmesan, fetta. A combination. (I prefer to put my cheese on top of the other ingredients because then the cheese goes bubbly/crunchy. But if you want to show off the other ingredients, put the cheese on first).

5. Throw it in the oven and cook until the bread is crispy and the cheese is melty. (Only takes about 10-15 mins).

Serve immediately.
