Blend it Up

We bought this a few weeks ago:



And we pretty much use it every night to make fruit smoothies. I like to eat healthy (ish!) but find it hard to eat as much fruit as one is meant to. However, it's a lot easier to drink it and the advantage over a juicer is that you keep the good bits of the fruit in there. My top blend of the moment is:

A hunk of watermelon
2 - 3 oranges
Handful of frozen mixed berries or fresh strawberroes
Handful of mint
Lots of ice

Sometimes we throw in an apple or a pear too - but I don't like the texture as much.

I can't wait for mango/lychee/rambutan/stone fruit season!
