Ingredients for cake decorations:
Feathers = Chocolate sprinkles
Feet + beak = White chocolate tinted with yellow food colouring (shaped by hand on baking paper, using a chopstick)
Eye = silver cacheous
Method: Looked up google images, drew a template on paper. Placed baking paper over it and made the feet (because the template shows through the paper). Iced cake with butter cream icing. Used chop stick to draw roughly where the feathers will be. Use spoon filled with chocolate sprinkle, hold spoon horizontal and then tap the handle with the other hand. Put the feet and beak on. Use a blob of icecream for the white of the eye. Place cacheous.
Transport to work in a box on train, scared you're going to drop it. Reveal to stunned workmates!!! (It was made for someone going back to NZ)
