Tools I Am Loving
I haven't posted in ages - do you know why that is? Because I'm on a pretty boring diet at the moment because I'm training hard at the gym. Think a lot of shredded cabbage, carrot and zucchini with some lemon juice, grilled chicken breast and some olive oil/salt/pepper. That's hardly going to set the world on fire.
I will say though, I am loving my citrus press at the moment. I was hesitant to get it because I thought it'd be another gadget in my kitchen. Which would fall into disuse. However, it's great and simple and so much less tedious than juicing lemons/limes. So get onto the Mexican Elbow!
I've also been reading about the Thermomix (see this article here) and it looks pretty incredible...Even if it is $2000!!! I know, it seems like the 'easy' way out of cooking and as much as I love the act of cooking, I also like being able to come home at 9:30pm after the gym and having a quick meal made vs. dicking around with chopping/cooking/eating/washing for about another 2 hours...It heats, chops, steams, blends, grinds...Imagine just shoving everything in and getting a stir fry out of it?!
Isn't that right my friend??
Maybe I will save up for it...I'll have to wait til I have a bigger kitchen tho - on my bench space I already have:
My rice cooker, blender, slow cooker and popcorn maker get stashed.
So what tools/gadgets are you guys lusting over at the moment?? What appliances get a permanent spot on your bench?

- Saeco automatic coffee machine (a house with no coffee is a house with no soul in my opinion)
- Turbo roaster - it's like a generic version of the Flavour wave...We use this instead of the oven and I couldn't live without it
- Kitchenaid
- Toaster
