(no subject)
Since the end of the semester, things have been oddly up and down.
On the down side, during the move I lost some stuff. I lost a bag that contained several cables to several gaming systems, my keyboard, and my mouse; I also lost my "overnight bag" which was essentially a lunchbox that doubled as a container for my toothbrush, toothpaste, comb, shaving kit, etc. My cell doesn't work, and I'll have to wait until next week at earliest to get it replaced, due to the current general manager of WMTU being downstate.
On the up side, I'm out of the goddamned dorms. I got my loan check today, and I'll be getting the money that will sustain me for the next 14 weeks here in the next 3-4 days; I'll have it in my account by Friday, at latest. My friend Zach and me committed a 10 year old fruitcake to the portage after watching a 10 year old movie (Ghost in the shell), and sampling it. I have more than enough food to last me the week, and by the time my loan comes in I'll be able to finish furnishing the apartment as well as getting some comforts (Like internet connectivity, and a land-based phone line. Jesus Christ, not having internet sucks dick. Big dick.)
Aside from that, I expect this semester to move swimmingly.
