when east rock is pink, it's time for a drink
long weekend has begun! well, aside from the bit of work that must done each saturday morning, of course. but even so, i'll take a monday off.
unlike nearly everyone else in the office, i hung around until normal leaving time. figured i might as well get something done instead of idle on the highway with the rest of the jump-the-gun crowd. of course, the highway was still pretty gunked up so it was the post road for me and that worked out nicely. (note: i see conndot has added fast-refreshing stills for their traffic cams -- not full-motion video, but it's fast enough that you get a better idea of traffic conditions, which is nice.)
stopped at the bottle shop on the way home and picked up a case of innis & gunn. yum!
not quite sure what the weekend has in store. smoemeth is gone again. definitely should clear out the junk in the hall. probably will torrent a show or two. and catch up on sleep. such an exciting life i lead. yay.
