she played for about one and a half hours. goofy as always. i didn't realize she had a band with her this time out: bassist, drummer, guitarist and human beatbox (aka the opener kid beyond). the last two were pretty much inaudible during the show. the rhythm section actually added a nice organic feel to the set. if they had played on all the songs and amped it up a bit, they would have been kinda lamb-like, actually. which would have been cool. as it was, it was still pretty cool. no complaints and the crowd, while loud, wasn't bad at all. though i wish her biggest fan had not tried to clap along on the acapella version of "just for now". oy!
