Today: Week 2 Session 3 (40 minutes): Run 1 minute, walk 4 minutes. Repeat 8 times.
Today was not as rough. The ankle is ok, although I have a weird ache partway up the left calf, I think it has to do with high heels, not with running. I'll keep an eye on things and see how they go. A minute still feels long, and I still think 1:30 is going to feel like forever, but it doesn't seem as impossible a forever as it did on Wed. Molly's getting better about running on a short loose leash, which helps. And I'm trying to focus on covering a certain distance, rather than checking the seconds, which seems to work a little better. So, yay. Now - time to clean the house and bake cookies! (Also, wahoo! I'm 2/13 there.)
